SA8000 is globally applicable to all industries and provides a clear framework that ensures ethical responsibility. SA8000 evaluation is an important tool in developing a supplier or vendor Code of Conduct.
During a Social Accountability evaluation, DQC investigates and responds to work environment issues in regards to conformance and nonconformance with the SA8000 criteria. After an evaluation is complete, DQC provides a comprehensive report documenting each accountability requirement, with noticeable attention paid to areas in need of improvement.

- Fire Protection and Emergency Preparedness Audit (FPEPA)
The objectives of this survey are to review good management practices for fire prevention, emergency preparedness, and fire control.This is not intended to be a comprehensive fire protection inspection or regulatory compliance review, nor should be interpreted as such.
The survey is accomplished through a process that requires a review of emergency response plans, site observations of work practices and conditions, and interviews with management and employees.The results of this survey will help to provide an understanding of management practices for fire prevention, emergency preparedness, and fire control. It is important to verify that your supplier has the appropriate working condition, facilities, machinery, methods of a sufficiently high standard and a sound quality control system to meet the quality you demand. However, a manufacturer or importer, equally, need reassurance and advice on the capabilities of the current production. DQC will provide qualified auditor on site to perform the evaluation. We do everything necessary to make sure that your specifications are fully understood and that your quality control requirements are enforced. - Initial Production Check (IPC)
After the manufacturer has been chosen, we will undertake an inspection on every batch of all materials and components to be used for your product. In this IPC, material, components and the first few finished units are checked at the commencement of productions against your specification and approval sample. The IPC thus permits timely correction and improvement before the bulk of production is initiated. The IPC should be carried out when approximately 10% of the merchandise has been produced (minimum 50 pieces).
- During Production Check (DUPRO)
The DUPRO provides the on-line inspection, DQC qualified inspectors will check that the corrections and improvements suggested during the IPC were implemented, examine the existing productions, advised the manufacturers of any further corrections or improvements to be made. The DUPRO should be carried out when 30-50% of the merchandise has been produced (minimum 50 pieces)
- Final Random Inspection (FRI)
The pre-shipment inspection takes place when the merchandise has been 100% produced and at least 80% of the shipment packed. Our inspectors pull a random sample of finished goods, based on a statistical random sampling technique, commonly known as MIL-STD-105E, BS6001, ANSI/ASQC Z 1.4, DIN 40080, ISO 2859 OR NF X06-022 for inspection. We check on quantity, workmanship, function, colour & style, size specifications, packing details and shipping marks, all with a view to ensure that the contract specifications are met. - Supervision of Loading (L/S)
This service is offered at the manufacturer’s premises, warehouse or forwarder during containerization after our Finial Random Pre-shipment Inspection, This service ensure that a lot is being shipped in proper condition and in its entirety. When the lot is to be shipped by container, we first examine the container itself, ensure the container is safe and clean, then ensure that the stuffing operation is carried out properly, namely that cartons are securely stacked and not mishandled.
